Custom Calling Features Description:
Call Trace *57, Call Return *69, Repeat Dialing *69 (Blocking pay per use features): Customers may request blocking, free of charge, so no one can activate these pay-per-use features. There is a one time charge of $6.00 to remove the block. The cost per Call Trace is $4.00 with a monthly cap of $12.00. The cost per Call Return (*69) and Repeat Dialing is $0.75 with a monthly cap of $6.00. 900/976:There is $15.00 charge to add 900/976 Blocking, and there is a $5.00 charge to remove 900/976 Blocking on each line.

Deposits
Deposit amounts are based on twice the average monthly billing for business customers in the Kerman Exchange.
Deposits are reviewed after 12 months of service. If service has not been suspended during that period for non-payment, your deposit will be refunded, plus interest. Refunds are applied to your bill. If satisfactory credit has not been established, the deposit will be held.
Move or Change Service
To move or change your existing service, please call your service representative at (559) 846-9311.
All changes, except disconnection or termination of certain options, will require a service charge. The fee amount is dependant on the type of change requested. Your service representative can quote the charges at the time of your request.
Installation Rates
Installation rates are based on the amount of work necessary to install phone service. The scope of work is dependant on both the type of service ordered and the facilities where it will be installed.
There are several steps required to connect new service. Not all installations require each step. You will be charged for only the work required to connect your service.
How am I billed?
Charges for local service and deregulated equipment are billed one month advance. Charges for repair, moves or changes are billed immediately after completion. Payment may be made via mail or in person at our office located at 811 S. Madera avenue. When paying in person, save time by providing both portions of your bill. Acceptable forms of payment include cash (only when paying in person), check, or money order. Please note that there is a return check charge for all returned checks. If you have any questions regarding any portion of your bill, please contact your service representative. If there are any difficulties obtaining an answer to your billing questions, please request to discuss with a supervisor. If the supervisor cannot help you and you believe you are being billed incorrectly, the amount of the bill should be deposited with: California Public Utilities Commission State Building San Francisco, CA 94102 Contacting the California Public Utilities Commission will avoid discontinuance of service. Make remittance payable to the California Public Utilities Commission, and attach the bill and a statement supporting your belief that the bill is not correct. Late Payments
Your payment due date is 15 days after the date printed on the front of the bill. If payment is received after due date, it will be considered “past due” and a late charge will be assessed.
Kerman Telephone Co. will provide you a 5-day written notice before suspending your service for non-payment.
If your service is suspended for non-payment all charges must be paid, including current charges, past due charges, and any additional deposit requirements. Additionally, there is a fee to restore service.
